In the film, Shakuntala Devi is played by Vidya Balan and in the film itself, actress Sanya Malhotra is seen playing her daughter. Apart from this, Amit Sadh and Jishu Sengupta will also be seen in the film. The biopic is directed by Anu Menon. The story is written by both Nayanika Mehtani and Anu Menon.
