What happens on Bakrid?

Namaz is first offered in mosques on Bakra Eid. After this, goat or sheep and goat are sacrificed. The meat of the sacrifice is divided into three parts. Out of this, one part is given to the poor while the other part is given to friends and relatives. At the same time, the third part is kept for his family.

What is the difference between Mithi Eid and Bakrid?

Like sweet Eid, Bakrid is also celebrated with joy, the only difference between Eid-ul-Fitr and Bakrid is that Eid-ul-Fitr is seen as happiness, is celebrated as a gift of Ramadan and eid- Ul-Adha means Bakrid is celebrated for the poor and Muslims together with them. The concept of sacrifice also means that the meat should be distributed among the poor so that the poor can get one time meal. After offering Namaz, they sacrifice sheep or goat and share it with family members, neighbors and the poor.

What is the significance of Bakra Eid

Bakra Eid is celebrated about 70 days after Mithi Eid. Bakra Eid gives a message to people to sacrifice everything in the path of truth. Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated in memory of the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim. Hazrat Ibrahim had agreed to sacrifice his son Ismail to show his loyalty to the command of Allah. When Hazrat Ibrahim proceeded to sacrifice his son, God, seeing his loyalty, converted Ismail's sacrifice into Dumbe's.
