There has been a ruckus when tweeting a picture of Lord Ganesha wearing a pendant around his neck being topless by pop singer Rihanna. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has filed a complaint against the CEO of Twitter in Delhi and Mumbai Police. Describing the tweet as provoking the sentiments of Hindus, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has also demanded suspension of Rihanna's Twitter account. VHP has also filed a complaint on Facebook post.

Actually, singer Rihanna has done a photoshoot for a brand. She is giving topless poses in it. He is also wearing a pendant of Lord Ganesha around the neck. Vinod Bansal, national spokesperson of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said, "Social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook have become a medium for anti-Hindu activities. There is no action from Twitter and Facebook against those who hurt the feelings of Hindus. In such a situation, we have filed a complaint in Delhi and Mumbai Police against the CEO of both mediums. Action has also been requested from the IT ministry. The VHP has also demanded from Twitter to remove Rehana's Twitter handle.

Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said that even if a platform like Twitter and Facebook, which has been earning big in India, did not distance itself from anti-Hindu activities, the organization would run a boycott campaign. India is among those countries in the world where there are the most users.
