New Delhi, Aug 13 More than 130 corona vaccines are being developed around the world to control the spread of corona. Russia has won the coronavirus vaccine competition. On Tuesday, President Vladimir Putin gave his daughter the first dose of the Corona vaccine, called Sputnik V. The corona vaccine will be available in countries around the world by November, said Kirill Dmitriev, head of the research funding group for the vaccine.
So far, 20 countries have agreed to buy Russian-made vaccines. It is expected that India will also get the vaccine by November. Some experts claim that the vaccine has not yet completed the third phase of human testing. Therefore, it cannot be said that the vaccine has been successful, the experts said.
"If the Russian vaccine is successful, we will have to see how safe and effective it is, and if so, then India has the capacity to produce the vaccine in large quantities," said AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria said.
The coronavirus vaccine in Russia has been developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Health. According to Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, if his vaccine succeeds in testing, the country will start mass production from October.
DIF chief Kirill Dmitriev, however, claimed the vaccine was safe. He informed that the data after vaccination will also be published in the coming days. So far, Russia has not published any scientific data on the vaccine. Therefore, many questions have been raised regarding this vaccine. Russia is expected to make the vaccine available to India by November.
