Ayodhya. As the date of Bhumi Poojan of the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya is getting closer, so the attraction towards the temple is increasing among the devotees. With the increasing amount of donations in Ramlala's account everyday, it is expected that by August 5, more than 100 crores will be deposited in the account. Devotees across the country are depositing funds online and in cash Ramlala's account. Despite the trust's appeal, large quantities of gold and silver bricks are also reaching Ayodhya.
State Bank officials said that information is being sought about the process of donating thousands of bank every day. In the Bhoomi Poojan program, however, an invitation has been sent to a limited number of people but still everyday hundreds of people are reaching out to the bank directly for the temple construction and donating it. According to bank officials, a large number of funds are being transferred after the date of Bhoomi Pujan. In addition to online arrangements in the trust account, funds are also being deposited by check. So far, the largest donation is of two crore rupees of Kunal Kishore, Secretary and former IPS officer of Mahavir Temple Trust, Patna. A donor from Maharashtra has also deposited one crore. Bank officials say that due to technical reasons, foreign funds are not being deposited in the bank. Foreign devotees are being disappointed by this.
Account in SBI: In
February this year, an account was opened with the State Bank of India for temple construction. In the lockdown period itself, four and a half crore rupees were deposited in the account. The amount of more than Rs 20 crore has been deposited in the trust account at this time, including the earlier offerings of Ramlala.
A
large number of people depositing cash in the trust office are sending donations of Rs 1101, Rs 501 and Rs 101. Rambhaktas are also donating cash to the trust office. On an average, Prakash Kumar Gupta, in charge of the trust, is depositing 50 to 80 thousand rupees in the bank every day. According to trust in-charge of the trust Prakash Kumar Gupta, local representatives of famous story reader Morari Bapu have informed that before August 5, their trust will deposit more than 20 crores in bank account.
